Frequently Asked Questions

If it's your first time at Gray Community Church, we would love to welcome you into our community! Here are answers to frequently asked questions to help plan your visit.

Where do I go when I arrive?

The courthouse parking lot to the side of the W.E. Knox Civic Center will have available parking for you. We have a parking team stationed by the parking lot to help assist you with parking. Our door holders will welcome you at the entrance to the building. Any person with a “Here To Serve” lanyard will be able to help you get to Kids Ministry, restrooms, or the worship area. If you need assistance, feel free to ask!

How long is the service?

Our gatherings last around an hour and fifteen minutes. We begin by singing 2-3 worship songs and then we hear the preached Word of God from one of our pastors. At the end, we respond through a closing song and celebrating communion together.

What about my kids?

We have an amazing Kids Ministry that meets during our worship gathering. Kids Ministry is for ages 0-5th Grade. In this safe environment, kids will learn about Jesus on their level, dance, sing, and share a snack together.

What should I wear?

Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to dress however makes you most comfortable.

Do you have a student ministry?

YES! We love students and long to disciple them to become more like Jesus. Our Student Ministry meets on Sunday Nights from 5:30pm-7:30pm at our Ministry Center (111 Atlanta Rd.) The night typically consists of free dinner, games, worship, a lesson, and small groups. This environment is for 6th-12th graders.
