Advent: Hope in the In-Between
BIG IDEA
Advent is the beginning of the church calendar, and it is a time to look back at the first coming of Jesus to prepare for His second coming. Hope is the theme of week 1. Misplaced hope leads to despair. Rightly placed hope leads to freedom and purpose because it unites us with God while we wait for the return of Jesus.
