Summer in the Psalms – Week 2
We are in week 2 of our Summer in the Psalms. The Psalms were written to be a prayerbook of God’s people who are striving to be faithful to the Word while waiting for the Messianic Kingdom. In week one of the journey, David shows us a deep commitment to the Word, to Prayer, and to Worship. We also see a desperation in David for God to move on his behalf and the behalf of the rest of the world.
The call this week is to:
1. Commit to the word, worship, and prayer.
2. Lament of the issues we see in our life and the world.
3. Submit to the authority of God and His Word in our life.
