We believe that serving with the local church is part of the discipleship journey as a Christ Follower. Serve Team serves the body of Christ on Sunday Mornings and through various mission projects. Serve Team is a great place to meet new people and serve!
Serve Teams
The Kids ministry team invests in the lives of children through serving in our Sunday morning kids environment. These environments include worship, biblical teaching, videos, small groups, and games. These volunteers typically serve on a 3 week rotation. All Kids Ministry volunteers must be background checked.
The student ministry team helps students get connected to our student ministry by volunteering at Sunday night worship, helping to lead small groups, attend retreats or conferences, and serving on Sundays. All student ministry volunteers must be background checked.
The hospitality team welcomes people to Gray Community at the front doors and helps to hand out any resources available to the congregation that week. These team members offer warm smiles, fist bumps, and high-fives to ensure that everyone feels seen, loved, and welcomed on a Sunday morning.
Hospitality team includes door holders, greeters, ushers, communion servers, and next step table volunteers.
The worship and production team leads and facilitates powerful worship experiences through vocals, instruments, and audio/visual engineering. Worship/Production team members are required to have auditions and submit to a training period.
